Retail sites cannot afford heating and hot water going down during trading hours, so plant room work on a live store is planned around the business rather than the other way round. The strip-out and install were sequenced so the store kept trading throughout.

Magnetic filtration matters on a replacement like this: new plant on an old system picks up whatever debris the old pipework is carrying. Filters catch it before it reaches the heat exchangers.
