Installation of two Ideal IMAX XTRA 280kW boilers, plus new magnetic system filters to protect the plant and keep it running efficiently.

Retail sites cannot afford heating and hot water going down during trading hours, so plant room work on a live store is planned around the business rather than the other way round. The strip-out and install were sequenced so the store kept trading throughout.

Magnetic filtration matters on a replacement like this: new plant on an old system picks up whatever debris the old pipework is carrying. Filters catch it before it reaches the heat exchangers.
