Hamworthy Modumax plant: strip-down services and full maintenance
Nine Hamworthy Modumax modules serviced in a week, strip-down services on six, and six Modumax MK2 boilers fully serviced with every serviceable component replaced.
The challenge
Modular Hamworthy plant is reliable when it is maintained properly and expensive when it is not. Several sites with Modumax banks needed servicing brought back onto a schedule, including strip-down services and a full heat exchanger replacement on a 250kW module.
What we did
As Hamworthy Heating approved service agents we service Modumax to the manufacturer's schedule: strip-down where the plant needs it, every serviceable component replaced on the MK2 full service, and heat exchangers replaced with genuine parts where inspection shows they are done.
The outcome
Modumax plant across several sites back on planned maintenance with documented services, and a 250kW heat exchanger replaced in a day to keep the plant room running.
