New plant room for a Brighton synagogue

A place of worship needs heating that is quiet, dependable and out of sight, in a building that was never designed around a modern plant room. The existing plant had reached the end of its life and the room needed rebuilding from the floor up.

A new plant room built as one system: two Ideal Evomax boilers in cascade on a painted plinth, insulated headers, a plate heat exchanger to separate the boiler circuit from the building, and a full pump and distribution wall with twin Grundfos pumps, a chemical dosing pot and a dirt separator to protect the new plant. Every circuit and switch is labelled so any engineer can read the room in a minute.

A clean, fully labelled plant room that can be serviced without guesswork, with the redundancy of a two-boiler cascade so a single fault does not leave the building cold.
