Care home plant room stripped out and rebuilt for winter

An old care home plant room stripped out and rebuilt ahead of winter: new boilers, flues, headers and a painted, marked floor.

The challenge

A care home client's plant room was old, tired and heading into winter. The home could not lose heating or hot water during the works, and the rebuild had to be finished before the cold arrived.

What we did

Full strip-out and rebuild in November: new Ideal boilers in cascade, a new flue system, headers and pumps, and the floor painted and marked for safe servicing. Works phased so residents kept heat and hot water throughout.

The outcome

A plant room set for winter, easier to service and safer to work in, delivered before the season turned.
